Who am I?

I believe healing begins in the safety of a genuine relationship, one where you feel seen, heard, and understood. You already hold the wisdom and strength to create the life you want. My role is to walk beside you as a guide and partner, helping you uncover the clarity and confidence that already lives within you. Together, we’ll explore the stories and pressures that no longer serve you and begin to rebuild a life that feels authentic, empowered, and deeply connected.

I have worked as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology, as a certified health coach, and am currently a yoga instructor at Abilene Yoga House. My training and internships have prepared me to see a wide variety of clients with an open mind and accepting heart. I am LBGTQ+ affirming therapist and am welcoming to all. These experiences are fueled by my passion to treat the whole person through a variety of modalities.

I am a mom of four, three boys (19, 15, and 12) and one girl (9). We are a special needs family and have navigated the complexities of raising a son with a genetic condition. I am deeply connected to and influenced by multiple spiritual beliefs.

What is counseling like with me?

In our sessions, you’ll find a space free of judgment, a place where you can explore parts of yourself that may have felt too vulnerable or unsafe to face before. Through curiosity, compassion, and understanding, therapy allows you to explore genuine acceptance and begin to experience your life in a new way. My hope for you is freedom. Freedom from shame, from the weight of expectations, and from the fear of not being “enough.” You deserve to feel grounded, connected, and at peace within yourself. Therapy isn’t about becoming someone new; it’s about coming home to who you truly are.

Approaches

I use a whole person, collaborative, integrative, and experiential approach to therapy. Utilizing Internal Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy I will meet you where you are opening up new way for you to explore and hold difficult emotions without being overwhelmed by them. I also use mindfulness, breath work, and somatic practices for nervous system regulation. I am also EMDR Trained (Eye Movement Desensitized and Reprocessing) and will use this when appropriate with clients.
