Who am I?

 I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have been practicing therapy since 2021. I received my BA in Youth and Family Ministry from Harding University, and then stayed to get my MS in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am also currently working towards my PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy with an emphasis in supervision and education. I began my career as a therapist in Dallas working with couples, families, and individuals from many walks of life, and have most recently helped to start an outpatient group program for adolescents in the community.

Outside of the office, I enjoy many activities, such as video games and role-playing games, and even incorporate them into my therapy. I have recently tinkered with astrophotography and love talking about all things space and sci-fi. I love getting to enjoy these interests with my wife and our Yorkie pup, Zoey.

What is counseling like with me?

When you meet with me, my hope is that you will feel safe to explore whatever brings you to counseling, even if you are struggling. I want to help you uncover your natural strengths and resiliency. My methods of treatment stem from cognitive behavioral, existential, person centered, and solution focused theories. I consider all facets of the individual, and tailor treatment to the specific needs of the client.

What insurances do I accept?

At this time, I do not accept insurance. I offer individual, couples, and family therapy. Fees are $120 per 50-minute session for individual therapy, and $180 for 75-minute session for couples and family therapy. I am unable to accept insurance at this time.
I can provide a superbill that you may submit to insurance for possible reimbursement. However, I cannot guarantee that you will be reimbursed.
